Heritage Hexiangzhu: The Art of Condensed Aroma
Hexiangzhu is a traditional Chinese condensed aromatic treasure, with its origins rooted in the folk custom of wearing seasonal herbal incense beads in the Jiaodong region. Over time, it has evolved into a refined craft of creating perfumed accessories, deeply integrated with traditional etiquette and ceremonial practices.

Its production is an intricate, multi-stage artisanal process that strictly adheres to ancient principles:
Selection & Preparation: Careful choosing and processing of raw aromatic materials.
Blending & Binding: Grinding the materials into an ultra-fine powder (over 120 mesh) and mixing them with natural binders.
Pounding & Fermentation: Kneading and pounding the mixture through three distinct stages of fermentation to mature and enrich the fragrance.
Shaping & Finishing: Meticulously hand-rolling individual beads to complete each piece.
Except for the powdering step, the entire process is completed manually, making mass industrial production impossible. The production follows the ancient formulation principle of "Sovereign, Minister, Assistant, and Emissary," and the aromatics are carefully processed by crushing, steaming, boiling, frying, or roasting to fully release and harmonize their essence.
